Mark Rogoff speaks two languages fluently, English and “Legalese.” This makes him the kind of person you want around during a real estate settlement.

Buying a home is the biggest transaction most people will ever make in their lifetime and the paperwork cannot only be overwhelming but confusing because of all the legal language.

“I want to be sure to explain documents they are signing so my clients walk away understanding them,” Mark stated. He believes his job is not finished until the people with whom he is working are clear on what is taking place. That way everyone leaves not only appreciative of the end result but of the process as well.

“When clients thank me for being thorough, responsive and creating a positive experience for them I know I’ve done my job well.”

As Managing Attorney for Title One Settlement Group, LLC, he brings over 19 years of experience as a real estate attorney into everything he does. With this much time in the industry, he has “seen it all” when it comes to the details of closing and the settlement process.

His clients also like the fact that he is willing to make the process easy and convenient. “I’m willing to go wherever a client desires to conduct the settlement,” he explains.

Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Mark graduated from Seneca Valley High School in Germantown, MD. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from the Pennsylvania State University and his J.D. Degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

Mark is licensed to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia. He is a licensed Settlement Agent in Virginia, Maryland and DC.
When he is not hard at work for Title One, Mark enjoys spending time on home improvement projects, watching movies with his wife, Leyla, or listening to music. They have two children – twins – a boy and a girl.

Mark also believes strongly in giving back to his community. He is on the Board of Directors and chair of the Ambassadors Committee for Vienna Tyson’s Regional Chamber of Commerce. He is also active in the Rotary Club of Vienna and Business Networking International (BNI). In BNI, he currently serves as President of his Chapter and a Director Consultant, overseeing other eight chapters for BNI.

It was through BNI that Mark met Tom Ivey and became an enthusiastic customer at Tysons Auto Specialties.

“Tom only does necessary service and/or repairs to your vehicle,” Marks stated. “He is honest and upfront about what needs to be done to my vehicle and how much it will cost.

“He is very responsive to all communication and clear about what needs to be done to my vehicle. When I am finished, I walk away confident that the work has been done correctly at a fair price.”
