How many of us have felt that way, especially in the fast pace of Northern Virginia? Well, thanks to Rebekah Phelps you can actually find an extra you!

Whatever life management or personal assistance you need, Rebekah of Extra You, LLC (www.rebekah-extrayou.com) can help. Her services include errands, shopping, organizing, bill paying, research and clerical work for the small business owner.

She can also provide companion services as well as escorts to the doctor’s office for the elderly. For many working families with parents in the home, this service is invaluable.

And, if she can’t do it, she can connect you with someone who can, through her vast base of relationships with handymen, plumbers, electricians, editors, writers and designers.

Born and raised in Texas, Rebekah moved to the Reston area after living in New York City. She modeled professionally in Texas and New York City and spent several years in full-time church ministry.

Rebekah and her husband, George, have been enjoying Reston for the past seven years. She has two grown children, Jacob, who lives in Texas, and Jacquelyn, in Reston.

Extra You was born out of her natural desire to help people. She had always found herself serving others and attained great satisfaction in helping organize aspects of others’ lives. Whether this meant going out of her way to ease someone’s schedule or simply putting them in touch with a solution provider, her delight was achieved by making a difference in another’s life.

“I’ve worked with all types of people from CEO’s to seniors,” Rebekah said, “From homeless to those who have many homes, those free and behind bars, disabled and mentally or physically challenged.”

When asked about hobbies and interests, Rebekah first responds that she just loves what she does serving others through Extra You. Her other interests include gardening and reading. She also volunteers at Capital Hospice and is writing a book, learning how to draw, and knowing more sign language.

Rebekah has been a trusting her car care to Tysons Auto Specialties for a long time. “I can always trust Tom to do quality work and tell me if a repair can wait. Also, if they live within the area, I take my clients’ cars to Tom when they need service.”
