My dad owned a car dealership and shop in Pennsylvania so I come from the business. It's so nice to find such honest men here in Virginia. This shop came recommended to my husband and we have had our cars serviced several times now (Lexus and Highlander). Each time they do a great job and never try to oversell. They are informative and give options, but not salesy. If you are looking for an honest shop with great work, I highly recommend them.
We have lived in the area for 7 years, and have seen our shared of repair shops throughout our military career. This is far above others! They go above and beyond to ensure your car is repaired in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. They even take our cars to complete the yearly Virginia inspections. The employees are incredible and extremely trustworthy. They take their time in explaining the repair issue so we understand the repair needed and the cost. Even our college age children come back to the area to have their cars repair by him, not only for the quality of their work but for the reasonable prices. Without a doubt they are great repair shop!!

He has done work on Acuras, Audis, BMWs, Hondas, Toyotas and Volvos. They truly give you estimates before any work is done and never exceed their estimates. They are cognizant of the inconvenience of bringing cars in and work with you to get the cars in and out asap. Even though they do not do state inspections, they will take of it when servicing your car and that is a huge relief. Lastly, they understand the nature of emergencies and are able to respond when you need them the most.
I have been a patron of Tysons Auto Specialties for 10 years now and have never once been disappointed in the exceptional quality of service I have received over the years. Even after moving farther away from their location in Tyson’s corner the level of service I receive represents so much value that I always return to their shop regardless of what I need and their advice is always top notch and represents the customer’s best interests. Richard is an exceptional person to deal with and make every effort to accommodate their customer’s needs!!! They continue to earn my business on every visit!!!
Richard provided outstanding service and actually made getting my car repair a pleasant experience! Usually I don’t leave reviews for businesses, but without the kind and dedicated folks at Tysons Auto Services our family’s 23-year-old Volvo would be in the scrap heap by now instead of celebrating another year on the road. This is one of the most honest shops I’ve ever been to. They have advised me when I wanted more work done on my old clunker than was worth and have since kept my new car rolling. They’ve even let me know when a competitor might be cheaper for a particular job. The work they do is always done efficiently and their price quotes are always accurate.

Recently I brought my car into your shop to get a tune up and induction cleaning on my 1998 Mustang. My car has never run better. I have used your garage one other time and in that instance and you saved me over $130 for what the Ford dealer was going to charge for the same work.
